EDISON

EDISON is the name of the media industry award show held every spring.

Here, students' exam films compete across grades and levels in categories such as 'Best Actor', 'Best Dramaturgy' and 'Best Film'.

The jury that evaluates the films typically consists of a former media studies student, an external media studies teacher, and a media studies student. In some years, professional filmmakers have also been represented on the jury.

There is particular interest in the audience award. Here, it is the media studies students themselves who choose the best film of the year. And it is usually a completely different film from the jury's favorite.
