Social Studies B

About the study program
  • Can England maintain its position in Europe after Brexit?
  • Will Germany still be a leader in Europe after Merkel's departure?
  • How are language and culture connected?

We deal with language, culture, and social conditions in English-speaking and German-speaking countries.

We love languages.

Through reading social science literature and works of fiction, we examine trends in topics such as youth culture, integration policy, and crime.

We work together with Koldinghus and are interested in the border region between Germany and Denmark.

Study trips usually go to German- or English-speaking countries such as Germany, Ireland, Scotland, or England.

Future opportunities

Language studies provide you with a good foundation for many courses of study, but especially those focusing on language, literature, cultural understanding, and communication.
