Exams take place at Skovvangen 10
- On arrival head for the admin office or head to the V-sector
- Remember a passport or picture ID when arriving for your first exam.
IB Retake
General information

All students who are retaking an exam must complete a contract and pay the fees associated with the retake before being entered for the exam.

Once paid, the fees are non-refundable, if you have a change of mind.

If you are a KG student (or a Danish student with a CPR number from another Danish IB World School e.g. Nyborg) and you pass the IB Diploma Programme, in your first retake session then we will refund the administration fee of 2250kr.

The administration fee will not be refunded in future retake exam sessions.

If you are retaking solely to improve a grade (s), even though you have passed, then the administration fee will not be refunded.
Compulsory contract and payment conditions for November retakes
Students will not be registered as full-time students or have the right to receive SU, unless otherwise agreed with the IB Coordinator.
Administration fee (per retake session)
Administration fee 2250 kr: to cover costs for coordinating the exam process e.g. communication including mails and meetings, organizing the exam schedule, access to a textbook.
learning materials
We do not provide text books, e-book licenses or any other learning materials. There are lots of very good free and subscription materials online including subject specific websites, videos and books.
Diploma certificate
If you pass the retake and the Diploma Programme but cannot collect the IB Diploma certificate yourself, then you will need to pay the courier cost of 200kr to have the certificate forwarded by registered post.
Information and optional support: November exams
- Internal and externally assessed pre-exam work (e.g. IA’s, Explorations, HL Essays) cannot be improved and resubmitted during the November exams. (Only exceptional cases which must be agreed upon by the IB coordinator)
- Teacher support: up to 3 hours of teacher support can be purchased at a rate of $400 per hour if you want help with a structured revision plan or support in a certain subject area.
Please note: if you decide to split retake subjects over two sessions (i.e. November and May), you must pay the administration fee twice.

Complete the registration form below by clicking on the relevant box – remember to include the level and the exact subject e.g. Maths SL AA or History HL Americas.

Email your current coordinator, and send an email to jsd@kolding-gym.dk This is a courtesy message, but not essential.

Pay for the retakes – send a screenshot of the payment once it has been made to jsd@kolding-gym.dk.

Please note, if you are travelling to take the exams, we do not offer accommodation, but Kolding has a number of hotels.
