Good study environment in a modern architectural setting
The KG environment
KG is a modern high school located in a scenic area with lawns, forests, and a golf course as its closest neighbors.
The school is divided into four sectors, linked together by a large common area. It has high ceilings and is bright and open, but also has nooks for group work and homework. Large paintings, art, and sculptures, together with information boards, create a charming mix of tradition and modernity.
During lunch breaks, the cafeteria buzzes with life as people eat, socialize, and music adds to the lively atmosphere.
The cafeteria offers a wide selection of both cold and hot dishes, characterized by health, sustainability, and ecology. In addition, the cafeteria provides delicious food for the school's many events and parties.
At the center of the school is the large auditorium, where people gather for film screenings, lectures, and other events. Next to the auditorium is a plateau with a large common area and screened-off workstations at a height of 3 meters.
The school is built on sloping terrain, so the basement at KG is—like the other areas—bright and open. At one end, the creative subjects are housed in contemporary and modern surroundings. At the other end is KG's large fitness room with direct access to the sports areas and Marielundskoven forest.
A covered walkway leads from the cafeteria to the school's sports hall, which is the gathering point for physical education classes and major events such as lectures, concerts, and graduation ceremonies.
The school's exterior architecture is characterized by square sections arranged in a strict system, broken up by large glass surfaces. The buildings are framed by red steel columns and grilles, giving the school a distinctive and modernist architecture.

At KG, you really feel like you are part of a big family.
