At HF, there are three project and internship periods. At KG, we call them PP1, PP2, and PP3, and they are located in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd semesters, respectively. The purpose of these is to help you choose your course package and what you want to do after HF.

At the beginning of December in 1st HF, you will be "equipped" to choose the subject package that is most suitable for you. We will look at your areas of interest, and you will learn about the different subject packages you can choose from. During this period, you will be taught the subject package choices you have not had before. These subjects are: psychology, media studies, rhetoric, and social studies. You will also learn about the educational and career opportunities that the various subject packages offer when you have completed HF.

During the first two days of school after the Christmas break in 1hf, you will try out the two subject packages you like best. You will have half a day with each subject package. After that, you will be ready to choose your subject package – this must be done by January 15 at the latest.

It takes place in March in 1hf. Here, you will delve into your own family history to learn more about where you come from. You can use this knowledge to think about what you want to do with your own life in terms of work. First, we will go to Horsens to visit the agricultural museum, the industrial museum, and the art museum, as these three places tell the story of how life has changed in Denmark over the last few centuries. Then, if possible, you will interview one of your grandparents or great-grandparents about their childhood, their dreams as young people, and their later life. Finally, you will present the person to the rest of the class and create a timeline where you place yourself in the family history and answer the question: where do you see yourself in the labor market of the future?

Takes place in October/November in 2hf. Here, you will do an internship at a higher education institution for two days. Where you go depends on your choice of subject package, but we collaborate with the police academy, IBA, and UC Syd. You can therefore do an internship in programs such as: police officer, nurse, midwife, physical therapist, multimedia designer, social worker, teacher, and educator. If you would rather do a relevant professional internship for the two days, that is also an option. However, you must apply for permission first and find the internship yourself. At the end of PP3, you will write an assignment that serves as training for the SSO.

In total, the three PP courses cover: 70 hours
